Photographer's Note
This is a view of the Kanchenjunga massif lit up by the rising sun -- as viewed from the WBFDC resort at Lepchajagat (16 km from Darjeeling). Sunset is equally spectacular and colourful. The clearest views of Kanchenjunga are usually during winter -- when the likelihood of clouds and fog is less.

Good sunrise - I visited there in 2001 and when you are there for just one day you just hope that the weather will be kind, because when it is the view is tremendous.

Hello,
I love mountains and I like your pic. Only problem is that there is a bluish tone in it, which I suppose does not do good to the sunrise colours. I have posted a workshop. Hope you will like it.

Hi,
A beautiful view of the massif.I love the colors of the rising sun getting reflected in the snow. What really stands out in the shot is the golden cloud over the peak. Good one!
