Photographer's Note
Mention the word "inhospitable" and BhaguaBasa comes to my mind... it was our next camp after the beautiful Bedni Bugyal on our way to Roopkund. After a trek of 12 kms over 6 hours, which included a steep climb of 4 kms, we finally found ourselves at BhaguaBasa at 4200 mts. There was snow all around and it was continuously snowing... we cleaned some area and pitched our tents. Temperature fell below zero in the evening and was supposed to reach around -10 during night...
There is a silver lining behind every dark cloud. For us it was the awesome view we got next morning... right from Bandarpunch in the east, Bhagirathi, Kedarnath range and Chaukhamba to Neelkanth in the west... the most impressive being Badrinath peak Chaukhamba(Four Pillars) at 7200 mts...

Awesome panorama!! It's like a feast of mountains in front of you. Chaukhamba really dominates the view. Nice shot of the Uttaranchal Himalayas.

Liked this Amol.
These kind of shots are seen on calendars always.
Your one is a good document to show various peaks to others.
