Photographer's Note
These tribal women working in the fields were probably breaking for lunch. I don't know what they were thinking and discussing among themselves but all of them looked very happy to have their photograph taken.
In the WORKSHOP section I have posted a picture of the fields. Nothing special but I liked the presence of the old man with the red umbrella.

Hello Satya,
None of today's photos is "special" in the usual TE way, but they both please me very much for being natural glimpses of daily life far from the life most TE members know. The young women are nicely placed within the frames and at least the nearest one shows a little smile as she walks past the camera. The WS is another colourful and interesting photo with a good view of the wet fields.

Je suis toujours étonné de voir le sourire sur les lèvres de ces femmes qui ont un travail difficile, adoptant des postures qui font souffrir, et malgré cela elles expriment une sorte de joie de vivre.

Great image showing everyday life. The colourful clothes of the women stand out on the background of green vegetation and they create a diagonal line across the image.
I like the WS photo too - the umbrella and the reflections are really nice.

People at work create excellent opportunities for photographers to capture unexpected images. Here, you have given us people just finishing work, no wonder they are smiling.
You have timed the shot well, the line of ladies creating a natural guide from the f/g to the b/g, whilst the greenery is a fine, textural surround.
