Photographer's Note
The small child was brought down safely through the flight of steep steps by his elder brother. Then he stopped for a moment to look at me and allowed me to take his picture.

Hello Satya,
We get a follow-up from yesterday, the same old house but now with two children.
You create wonderful depth and perspective.
Lovely composition and perfect presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Satya,
It has been interesting to see the same place in three stages. First it looked like a safe playground, than as totally unsafe, and now we see that the small child was safe - at least for the moment. It's not an enviable place to live, but most people have very little choice. Now that we get a wider view I also recognize the heavy mist that I recall from practically every day in Darjeeling and Sikkim, making everything cold and wet. The prayer flags above the buildings also evokes memories.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonjour, cher Satya,
Le choix du noir et blanc convient fort bien pour accentuer l'effet du passé et donner un aspect nostalgique à travers le sujet présenté.
J'aime beaucoup.
Amitiés.

Hello Satya,
It is interesting for us to see a wider view of the place where the small children were situated on your previous photograph.
And, it is pleasing to see that the steep steps have been safely negotiated.
There is a wonderful sense of depth, created by the sharp f/g and the mist laden b/g.
You have given us a real taste of this area.
I wonder, are the houses built high up to avoid floods?
Just a thought!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Satya
A good photo of this misty village. Good having the people in the photo otherwise it would have been a little bland.
cheers

Hello Satya, another beautiful picture from this village in the mountain. We can be sure that the little guy is well cared for by his elder brother. The stairs are so steep, they can be difficult and dangerous.
Kind regards MAlgo

Hello Satya,
A good photo with this impression of the village and its small wooden houses. The composition is well balanced and I like the fog in the distance, which added a nice contrast with the black and white foreground. The two people in the otherwise deserted street are well included.

Hello Satya
A superb b&w shot with excellent tonal range, lighting contrasts and sharpness. The small child at far right adds a charming focal point. Good depth ad layering with the fg road, mg trees and bg misty forest. Tfs!
