Couldn't help thinking about the old song "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" In this instance it's true. Looks like the lady is more interested in the juice than the fully ripened coconut. When my sister lived in far north Qld, the pet doberman would de-husk the coconut and then she would wash and open it and save a piece for the dog. Tfs

A very ordinary scene in an ordinary street, but a kind of picture any street photographer would love to take - at least I would. I like how you cropped it so tightly, cutting off all disturbing or unnecessary elements, focusing entirely on the bunch of coconuts, the salesman and the customer. But the inclusion of the other lady, the girl and the bearded salesman in the background, and even a glimpse of a lady in a pink sari much further away, has created a strong sense of depth. I think you have very good eyes for the everyday beauty in your own well known environment, which is a gift that doesn't come to everyone.

Personally, I'm not a fan of coconuts and coconut juice, but as for photos they're great subjects :) Its a great looking daily life view/scene, especially with the large blade knife he is using. good one. cheers

hey, great street scene, love the natural colours and clarity, great you included all of the coconuts in the foreground, and don't believe everything hear about those horrible phone towers, love the irony that you took the shot with your mobile phone... left me as satisfied as that customer!
