Street capture while I was wandering among the alleyways of semi-desert town in Jaisalmer. I am sure that Ganesha - one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in Hindu pantheon, must not be pleased with what I saw....

Strange place to wash the buttocks of this child, but the woman will not have noticed that the photographer was not just making a picture of the colourful poster with the elephant-figure.

The colorful Ganesh fresco is an eye catching focal point here. Good sharpness and saturation. The woman attending to her child's impromptu call of nature balances the shot with an everyday scene. Tfs!

Hello abmdsudi,
Maybe the deity was not happy, but there are some human necessities, which should be satisfied anyway. Excellent observation and realization without going too close to the private sphere of the woman and her child. All in all a good documentation of everyday-life.
