Ha! Ha! Paul, I really believed your quip about Malgo! But it's true, she has been everywhere!

I really like your shot for many reasons. Yes, it's good to see that women do have time to get together to chat and maybe, joke. But I like their vibrant clothes and happy demeanour and the setting is so perfect for showing their location.
It's a well composed and perfectly sharp photograph, despite the obvious movement.

Mumbai looks like a fantastic place to explore!

Hello Paul,
To my surprise I have probably not been here. ;-) I had to look it up on the map, and I don't think I ever was in this area. Three excellent photos, and although many would possibly have chosen one of the workshops for main upload, I firmly believe this is the best one. The woman to the left shows such an interest in the sculpture, while the other two are having a nice chat. There is a action and interaction, lots of interesting details, a wonderful light and the fantastic colours of the saris. An extra plus for your slightly elevated position.

Hello Paul,
Saw the WS's pictures and must say that #2 WS should be kept to be posted as main photo in coming days - it has all the elements to show a wonderrful part of this place. Merely my humble opinion.
The main photo here depicted a nice moment when two ladies were exchanging views on a written subject in the paper... the third woman was looking for the opening hours sign...
A nice take on the streets of Mumbai.

Thanks for the story in Workshop :). It made me laugh. And it is true that I was there. Indeed, usually we see just the men sitting lazy and we suppose that the women are working home at that time. But it happens in Mediterranean. In India I often saw the groups of the women, like here. Of course, I like the WS pictures, but this is the best. Beautiful entrance, but how these women look elegant in their sari. Charming composition.

Missed this one. Here I like the contrast between the stooped elderly woman with a walking stick and the straight upright statue. A superb daily life scene with excellent sharpness and framing. Tfs!

hahaha...funny joke about Malgo...but the funny thing is it could very easily be true.

and yes, interesting observation about the women and men socializing, this time its a small group of women. its fun to investigate their clothing choices, and then we have the eye catching door as well. lots to see in this 'simple' scene, nothing wrong with that. cheers

Hi Paul,
What a colorful scene, again mainly thanks to the colorful dresses of the ladies. The facade is nicely decorated here and the ladies next to it complement the decoration.
