So India wins two medals at the olympics after a long search for one. Both from Women athletes.
Just another reason why i believe there is a gender shift in terms of power, not only in India but across the globe.
truly fascinating that a girl from an ancient village in Gujarat would engage, collaborate and converse with a total stranger with a camera, tell him about the importance of school and doing her homework right.
There is a message between the eyes.

Thought-provoking note, good picture...welcome back.
India at the Olympics has always puzzled me. If tiny Belgium gets more medals than India, surely the Olympics can't have their priorities right? Or what is it about Indian athletes?

A compelling monochrome portrait, with forceful eye-contact, and make even more evocative by your interesting and thought-provoking note. Maybe a bit grainy (you don't divulge what camera you were using, and it looks as if it may have been a mobile 'phone or a small compact), but actually that doesn't bother me at all, and in fact probably adds to the documentary/cinéma vérité quality.
