This is another courtyard inside the palace of Bikaner, here we have a sample of jaali, that is a perforated screen made of sandstone, some very usual in this region of India.

Este é um detalhe de outro pátio dentro do palácio de Bikaner, vemos aqui mais um exemplo de jaali, que é uma placa de pedra perfurada, neste caso feita de arenito vermelho, um material bem comum nesta parte da Índia.

I like the warm, but soft colours here, especially of the windows, they stand out really nicely against the slightly darker background. Great level of sharpness too.

The sandstone gives a beautiful red colour of the ornaments.
It must have been a tremendous work to carve all these patterns.

Una maravilla este balcon-mirador, el diseño de su celosia es una verdadera joya, muy bien captada desde abajo.
