that is a nicely composed shot of the landscape with the black road providing great contrast and lovely lead to the hills. The clarity and colours are superb. Beautiful details of the hill in the bg against the clear blue sky. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend and happy holi :-).

Hello Subho,
Like a long black snake the road is meandering through the landscape.
Despite the barrenness of the area the picture is quite colourfull with the grass, the snowy peak at the right and the rock colour, all under a nice blue sky.

Hi Subho,
It seems a million miles from mankind, but as you say the freshly laid road is a sign of mankind, and it makes a really striking leading line into this image. The view is so majestic, and the road creates a perfect compliment of depth. Love this composition too, really nicely done! Thanks to your efforts for this wonderful natural scene.

The simplicity of this one makes it really appealing. The curving road is doing a good job of leading the eye into the scene. I like the way it goes from the green grass to the muted browns of the mountains, giving the landscape enough depth to make it truly beautiful. Well done.

Hello Subho,
This is a terrific composition, depending very much on the newly laid road which makes a fine black curving line through the scenery. These artificial curves, along with the natural curves of the hillsides, give the composition good balance and a nice rhythm. The fine colours are an added advantage of this photo.

A picture which epitomizes the barrenness of Ladakh...the lone single lane road through the barren peaks...yes, this is the beauty of the place indeed.

While this is well done, I would suggest that for such pictures have some object as a scale and also as a focal point...maybe a car, a person, a tree...something that would be a focal point and would pivot the shot well and also provide scale.
