Candid Moments - II : This shot was taken at Darjeeling near clubside last year in August.Here you can see a busy lane going down the hill.A couple of stray dogs are playing in the sand and barking at a man carrying a large sheet of corrugated tin on his back.The man carrying the sheet seems to be totally unperturbed by the barking as well as others moving down the lane.Dogs everywhere in the world are perturbed by strangers and also for the unknown objects if carried by the stranger.This is a typical scenario of similar kind,which makes the porter indifferent towards the dog's behaviour too.

Hi Farhat,
A good scene this, and a strange one in that the people seem to be crowded into a narrow passage, this feeling enhanced by the man carrying the corrugated tin, while the dogs are the masters of the scene, with their playground and nobody daring to cross into their little world, yet they dare to bark at those outside. Unusual and intriguing scene, and a really nice choice in black and white too.

Hello Farhat,
This is a nice street shot. The dogs are barking but nobody cares. Not much is happening, as daily life just goes on, but this photo captures this ordinariness very well. Nothing is planned, nobody poses, it's just life.

Salam Farhat.Busy lane. I wonder if the people going down are locals or young tourists. The locals are carrying odds and ends, the ones on the right have their hands in their pockets. Maybe they have arrived by bus. Intriguing scene. B&W serves you well here. Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Farhat,
I think following a B&W series is refreshing. I like the tilt you have given to the scene. I think the dogs have divided the labor between themselves: The darker one has taken on the corrugated tin carrier and the lighter one has adopted the water pail carrier.

Dogs always barks, Farhat, i'd be concerned if they twit like birds.
But, what is most eyes catching here, is the hard-labor picture: seem as the worker go back and forth on same path all day...
Picture conveyed the atmo. very well.

Hello Farhat,

You're capturing well this daily life by a good angle and excellent B/W tone, so it's impressive to see the spectacle in which two stray dogs are barking at those who are going the hill back and forth. Incidentally, the wild dog (Stray cad) is forbidden, even if a stray cat is allowed in Japan.

Interesting capture, and the black and white was a good idea, since the sky looks very cloudy. What I find really interesting of this behavior of the dogs is when we're driving a car and they go after it barking until we stop the car and then they don't know what to do. Very nice image and note about it!

A fantastic b&w photo-journalistic shot of the men and dogs in this street. The diagonal axis of the single file crowd at right adds dynamism with the corrogated sheet of iron going in the opposing direction. Good sharpness and tonal range. The stray dog furthest away seems more interested in the man carrying the pail. Tfs!

Hi Farhat,

I think you said it best in your note...a busy lane indeed! I like the action and lively feel of this shot, especially with the dogs looking as if they're ready to pounce at any second. This has very much the spontaneous quality that you've wanted to convey, a "day in the life of..." Kind of mysterious that the man carrying the sheet metal is completely darkened, almost a ghostly effect. :) This has that raw and gritty appeal, very well captured to get that sense of everyone in motion. Have a great day ahead.

certain objet font peur aux chiens, et de ce fait peur a l'homme aussi !!, une situation difficile que ce soit pour l'un comme pour l'autre, la scène est bien présenter, le POV, le choix du N/B qui convient bien
