Photographer's Note

This is the 2nd pic of the frozen series.

Refrigerator is pretty much the only place that most of the indians see h2o in the frozen form.so when finally we do get ice or snow a handful of times in our lifetime during our visits to the himalayas we get ecstatic. and i am no different.the white morning after the previous night snow got me fascinated.whatever i saw in this tiny village had snow on it.the smallest object made for a curious sight.

PLACE: Gnathang Valley (pronounced as Nathang Valley) is a high-altitude valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, situated at 13,500 feet from the sea-level. It is the highest place to stay in the Indian part of the Old Silk Route. It usually remains covered by thick snow from November to mid-April.Gnathang Valley is one of the most remote habitations in Himalaya. Its beauty is virgin and unique in many ways. The forgotten trail of the Old Silk Route is still present here with all its legacy.
