Photographer's Note

The Mondays of Shravana (a month in bengali calender which lies between 2nd part of July and 1st part of August) are very special for Hindu devotees. In each Mondays they used to take a dip in the sacred river Ganges and carry this sacred water to pour it on the stony idol of Lord Shiva. In this process they used to walk miles with bare feet.
In this frame you can see some of them who are in the Byaspur Shiva Temple complex are waiting for their turn. You can see also some part of this temple which is a unique with its terracotta style. In this frame you can see a 'Dhak' in foreground which is an instrument covered with leather in two sides and the sound created by two wooden sticks.
It was captured today morning and the sky was then not in its best. So, there is a burned portion at the left side of frame. Despite this, I like this frame very much and now sharing it with you. Hope you'll like the effort tried.
