Diwali, light festival.
I had the chance to participate to one of the most important festival in Vanarasi. It is really worth but so difficult to access a point where picture could be easy to take.
I still had my old reflex with slide films where this kind of scene is really not easy to capture.
I decided however to share this particular moment.
A Sadhu in the center animates the religious ceremony.

A l'occasion de mon passage a Vanarasi (Benares) c'etait la fete des lumieres, une des principales fetes indoux.
Ambiance toute particuliere que j'ai essaye de retranscrire ici avec mon vieux boitier argentique muni de films diapos en montant dangereusement sur un rebord.
Un Sadhu au centre anime une ceremonie religieuse: il est quasiment le seul a bouger au cours de cette pause longue d'ou le flou.
