Photographer's Note
I've heard recently that photography is no longer allowed in the Dilwara temples on Mount Abu. In light of this, I will be posting more of my photos taken in 1985, to share this wonder of Indian artistic achievement.
This image makes the underwater metaphor explicit, with the seashells carved into the tresholds.
