Photographer's Note
This is a water reflection of the Omkareshwara Temple in Madikeri, the capital of the coffee-growing Kodagu district in Southern India. While being dedicated to Shiva, a Hindu deity, the temple is built in a mix of Gothic and Islamic styles - hence the dome which is not a typical feature of a Hindu temple.
Just cropped, sharpened and increased saturation.

Like it very much: the combination of colors works very well, and the water distortion / reflection creates a beautiful effect while preserving the original image. Great shot idea.

Lovely capture, Joanna! I like how this eclectic temple is distorted in this reflection. The colour palette and abstractness is striking. Great capture, congrats.

wow
i was walking back to my hotel . had a long day, decided to come online and saw this photograph . its really really really nice and it's a pity that most people dont seem to understand or appreciate your perspective. the photograph is very different and it's such a god change frmo those really boring "normal monumental" shots.
even the blue in the refelction of the water seems so rich . i wonder if youve done something to it on photoshop . anyway i have along walk ahead so i better get going. will check out your new postings in a while take care.
