Photographer's Note
Araku Valley is a famous hill station located in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is located 115 km from the Vishakhapatnam district, close to the Orissa state border. This place lures people with pleasant weather, hills and valleys. The natural beauty of this valley comes alive with its rich landscape. The area of the valley is roughly 36 km and the altitude is between 600 and 900 m above the sea level.
Araku ValleyThe journey to this place on the Ghat road with thick forests on either side is in itself interesting and pleasant. One can have a wonderful trekking trip. 46 tunnels and bridges will greet you on the way. The Ananthagiri hills on the way to Araku Valley are famous for coffee plantations. The Borra caves, located 29 km from Araku Valley, are a nearby tourist attraction.
This picture was taken during my drive towards the Valley. It was a rainy day and I like the Atmosphere very much. The huge and beautiful single tree was used to compost the picture .
Film is Fuji 100asa, Velvia.

well composed color of water indicates there is fresh rain uphills and dark cloud is making your picture marvelous green grass is splendid thanks for sharing

Very well framed composition. I really like the layers of mountains in the background. The cloudy atmosphere is very well captured with occasional sunrays on the ground. I like the "call of the monsoon" coming from your shot.

Hi Satish,
Good colours but slightly low light, but nice composition. May be u can reduce some sharpness, as seen in the edges of the leaves. But overall, well-take.

a fine landscape view with the mist over the mountains at the horizont, the natural greens of the grasland, well framed with the diagonal curved perspective brown water of the river below and the light shades of a weak sun.
