Photographer's Note
Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lake in India (at the height of 5148 meters ASL ) - 4x4s go all the way till the lake. Indians need permit, foreigners may not be allowed (not sure though). This is because this lake is pretty near to indo-china border.
If you go there... plan for a parikrama, it takes 70 mins to remember, and a life time to forget.
