Years ago, I first visited India invited to a Sikhs wedding that took place during 4 days in Chandigarh and New Delhi
Finally this year I visited the Golden Temple and was happy to share with them ( the Sikhs) the music and ambiance
All round the lake they seat in a quiet way admiring, praying and listening with respect the hymns transmitted through loudspeakers
The Golden Temple, located in the city of Amritsar in the state of Punjab,is a place of great beauty and sublime peacefulness, it is surrounded by a lake
The temple's architecture draws on both Hindu and Moslem artistic styles yet represents a unique coevolution of the two.
Beginning early in the morning and lasting until long past sunset, hymns are chanted with exquisite accompaniment of flutes, drums, and stringed instruments.
Echoing across the serene lake, this enchantingly beautiful music induces a delicate yet powerful state of trance in the pilgrims strolling leisurely around the marble concourse encircling the pool and temple

Hi Maria,
the night view of the Golden temple is nice with the four heads on the foreground heads to make the image more effective.The light management is good as the presentation of the shot.

With this colorful night photo and very informative story in the note, you have depicted a broad picture of traditions, daily life and architecture of Sikh people. Hola Maria,
Three man in diff. colors of their turbans and one woman, set on a great point to view the illuminated temple.
Golden lighty upon gave a special glow over the edifice, and reflected on water.
Fine night shot, good clear image, the moment superbly collected.
