Ladakh is a cold desert in Himalaya with the Leh its main city situated @ 11000 feet, The landscape is dry and arid but just like oasis in a desert there are are green valleys, which gives a much needed diversification.

Truly splendid picture, the green patch of cultivated land gives life to the picture. Nice POV, resolution needs to be improved. More focus on the green patch and cropping off the waste-land(Left bottom) would have made it perfect.
