Hi Manuj, Good street photo. The angles and anguish make it so emotive and effective. I won't coment too much on this controversy of this, just to say there are twos sides to this story and many forget how unfair the lives of most were before China starting developing this part of the world when serfdom ruled.TFS. Controversial subject. Sometimes it is difficult to bring western values into Asian context or vice versa, and politics is a dirty game.

What is best for the west, is not good for the east. Which is better?

A very powerful image Manuj - the strength of this person's feelings are so graphically portrayed and the crop on the message is such a dynamic choice - we see enough for the sign to come through loud and clear and this works so much better than if it were displayed fully - an excellent documentary shot.

Wow! Quite an expressive shot for first post! We can almost hear her cry, a mix of anger and sadness. A compelling image that remembers us again the drama of that people who has been subject to genocide, not only cultural, by the tyrants of the new global power that nobody dares to contradict.

Perhaps one of the best picture I've seen from of the recent Tibetan agitation, worldwide. The closeup shows anger, the placard shows anguish. Simply amazing a shot. And I agree with you, we cannot keep our eyes & minds closed, but I can openly ask have we as world citizens done enough? Perhaps not.
