Photographer's Note
I met this little boy barely 7 or 8 years old, inside the Chaurasi Temple complex area, in the beginning he was very shy but curious about the visitors who were strolling in the complex and taking pictures.
He took us around one of the temples and opened the temple door so that we could step inside and take a look at the interior.
Whenever I tried to take his photo he would run away and smile from behind the door or a window. After many unsuccessful attempts of hide n seek, I finally got this when he was watching me from behind a window. The window had a dark net made of iron mesh and the interior where the boy stood was a bit dark.
I had to adjust the highlight and shadow to bring clarity to the picture.

Hello Paromita,
This is a fine and a bit unusual portrait of the little boy. You managed a very good eye-contact with him and his face is very clearly seen in spite of the net. In fact it's the net and the iron bars, along with his eyes, that give the photo its special character.

Hello Paromita,
even through the net the charm of the little boy is immediately apparent,it`s a very pleasing grab portrait shot with nice skin tones and bright eyes.

Beautiful composition. The sharpness of the image enables to see the net between you and the boy. Good lighting too!
