Photographer's Note

Qutb Minar, in the south of New Delhi, is a tower raised to celebrate the victory of the troop of Qutb ud-DIN Aibak. It was also used as minaret of the mosque. It makes 86 m of height. it was built in the surrounding of 1198. All the ruins around the monument are built on the rest of a city rajpoue at the end of the 10th century.

The photo was taken bottom of the park where this tower is, just behind a small dome. This dome built by the English at the time of their arrival in the area, was intended to be gone up for the top of the tower. But it was it never. See the photograph in the WS. I found interesting to see the tower covered with what should have done it.
