Ritual bathing is a part of most hindu festivals. In this country, the rivers are considered to be holy. Nobody pays attention to the pollution made during these events.

Kolkata goes by no exception to these rules. While people take a "holy" dip, the waste are dumped on the banks. Even some half-mutilated idols of gods keep standing nearby.

The idols have lost their heads, they can't see, but we still have ours, cant we see?
