The Hooghly river is a lifeline for the people of West Bengal.Hooghly river a distributary of the Ganga River in West Bengal was an important transportation channel in the early history of Bengal.I took this shot from babughat jetty,from here howrah station is comfortably accessable by launch(large motorized boat managed by hooghly river transport and devolopment authrty.),in this image the launch is coming from howrah station jetty from west side,its a sunset time.while returning from office i culdnt miss this view.
