Photographer's Note
Walking down Pingyao's main street, this little guy came up to us with this puppy he was playing with and proudly showed it to us. In rural China keeping dogs as pets is still considered to be a sign of wealth, but to this guy that dog really meant the world!
A note on the location: Pingyao is China's best preserved walled city. Although the carfree ancient town has already seen quite a lot of tourists, it still is a very enjoyable and relaxed place to spend a few days. The place is dotted with all kinds of ancient houses and temples you can visit.

Hallo Benny,
Very cute this boy and his dog! Sharpness is great on the dog to show his lovely fluffy features. Nice tight composition for this sweet double portrait.

Hallo Benny,
Deze wil ik zeker niet overslaan, deze is veel te mooi om geen bezoek te brengen.
De ogen van de jongen en deze van de hond zijn bieden goddelijk, de liefde van beide kanten is voortreffelijk.
Goed genomen en schitterend gepresenteerd.
