Photographer's Note
This shot was taken from inside one of Hong Kong's new trams, between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay.
While everyone was baking outside in Saturday's brilliant sunshine and 32 degree heat, we where enjoying the view from the slightly 'cooler' top deck of the tram.

great shot here, I like the man with the newspaper, very candid shot indeed, very good work here, shame the outside is very bright.
But I guess it cant be helped, well done

Dear Andrew, for me there is an eye catching object missing. Something spectacular. Maybe the photo in the other direction with the faces would be better. The light situation is very difficult with the outside bright sun.
Yours, Jan

Excellent photo for Scavenger Hunt, I like the man with the newspaper, very candid shot indeed, the light situation is very difficult with the outside bright sun, but well good depth. Well seen!

Good shot, Andrew, the perspective really conveys the illusion of sitting in the tram and reading the newspaper over the guy's shoulder (that is, if I were able to read more than "sky's the limit" and "9.4"). Good handling of the contrasting light, and the silver railings in the tram car make for an interesting pattern. Well captured.

Since I first saw your photos of Hong Kong's double-decked trams, Andrew, I've wondered how they look inside. And here is the answer. I find it 'cool' to see this 'driver-free' environment - rather narrow, but very elegant (as they are new?) - and a bit of the view 'from above'. You've mastered the light rather well, taking the correct decision to overexpose the outside a bit. The paper-reading guy is really a contribution to this 'every day shot'. Well done!

Very good daily life shot. Reading newspapers. Looking out the window. Just sitting around in traffic in this new tram. I really like the feel of it placing me there. Looking over this shoulder at the newspaper reminds me of when I was at school riding the bus to class and catching some news on other peoples' papers. Nicely done, Andrew.

Interesting place to take a picture! A moment in the life of these people. The light is well proportioned and gives the impression that the shot was taken early the morning.

Bravo Andrew
