Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at the promenade at Lei King Wan on the eastern side of Hong Kong Island.
The birds were checking out every boat that moved, to see if there was a chance of a meal.
It is a great place to see the daily life of those who work on the water - and yet still difficult to get away from the urban jungle!
A month later, I took my "Seen any trees lately?" photo from the same position - but with different birds!!
The Google map shows the urban jungle to be part of Yau Tong in Kowloon.
The photo was taken in 2004 with my old Olympus C-730 using the 10x zoom function.

Andrew the red building in the upper middle look like is leaning to the right. I hope is safe to live there!...This is a good shot of the boat and the city. I like the way you caught the seagulls in midfly. Not the greatest quality after a few years but still a nice image. Thanks.

This reminds me of some similar photos I took a few years ago. I noticed the same breed of buzzards flying around outside my hotel room on the 25th floor and I've taken a shot quite similar to yours with a buzzard gliding over the streets of North Point, the waters of Victoria harbour in the background. Picture-wise it is a bit cluttered, but that's Hong Kong for you. The birds are nice and sharp though.
I don't know how big your original photo is, but if it is large enough, I would suggest a crop to focus on the best part of this picture, the buzzard near the right edge of the photo. I've supplied a workshop to show which part of the image I would try and crop out, providing it is big enough. :)
