Photographer's Note

Click on the photo to see the large panoramic version!!!
[earlier problem with the corrupted large version has been fixed]
A street panorama from the Mong Kok district in Kowloon. This part of Mongkok is full of camera shops and clothes shops, and as always many street advertising signs. The buildings are multi level, so you often see advertising signs for shops in the upper floors, which adds to the clutter.

I've taken a few HK photos, and I always like to include somebody using a mobile phone in them. How many can you spot?

Taken about 6pm as the sun was setting.

Tech: I'm guessing about the 1/45s shutter speed, it was sth like that. Crop from a single frame using an 18mm lens, which gives a <> 90 degree horizontal field of view. 3600x2400 pixel scan from the negative (done at Fuji Frontier lab), which I then resized and sharpened.
