Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in Causeway Bay - one of the best shopping areas in Hong Kong and one of the busiest places too.
The title for the photo comes from the tram stuck in the background.
To compensate for all this air polution, you will notice there are three trees in the shot.
And in the top right corner of the shot, I have managed to include one of Hong Kong's other trademarks - bamboo scaffolding and green netting.

Great slice of life picture. I'm lovin it ... but I want to get out of it! These buses are just tremendous ... yup ... you've caught HK at its best... bamboo scaffolding, green netting and 7 Eleven! What else could you want in a photograph?!!!

A great busy shot, Andrew, giving a good imopression of HK busy streets. Wow, this is a chaos of transportation, and the 3 trees are very small. I saw these bamboo scaffolding also in China. They use it there even in very high buildings and it is scary. This is a very very good shot, Andrew. I like it very much.

I really like this type of exagerated busy urban place. There's almost no place for pedestrians. Big spectrum of colors also. Lots of details. Thanks!

Great perspective on this shot (were you on a bridge?), and great colors. I like the way that you've practically filled the frame with all the vehicles. I also like how you can see the reflections of the building in the windshields of the two trucks in the lower right corner. It looks a little bit noisy to me, though.

I just looked and looked and looked at this and then suddenly there is a little man standing in the middle of the high trams and buses! Did you see him? In the gap to the left of #8. And another thing, when you haul concrete you don´t want to get stuck in this, there is some comedy in that.
The repetition of "blocks" on the left contrast nicely to the disorder of "blocks" on the right. I think I would crop a little on the top, just under 7eleven.
And yes, Andrew, I still love to be alone on a mountainside!

A very good daily scene shot. There is so much to look here and so little time to get immersed in the "street". Good colors and repetition. It speaks a lot about Hong Kong. Thanks.

wow, that's Hong Kong alright. It's the busiest place I've ever visited, but also the most well-organised when it comes to huge numbers of people moving about in a very small space. At least the trams aren't putting out any fumes! Great shot.

This is great. The chaos is crazy. But yet it all looks so ordered. All the advertisments add to the feel of the urban jungle. There is so much action in this. It's a good title, also and whoever is stuck in all this seeing that must be getting pretty upset. Really good. I'm loving this photo.

Andy, bamboo scafooldings aren't HK trademark only - I show it in few of my pics coming.
Picture: Haha nice. You managed to show us HK's speciality in one great shot! Thanks

This is almost scary. My fingers started to grip an imaginary steering wheel just from looking at this traffic. This photo makes it appaer as if the traffic will jump out of the monitor. The 'I'm lovin' it' sign appears really tongue in cheek here.

Whoa, urban jungle at its best. Another great HK street scene, one would think it can't get any busier than that. The bamboo scaffoldings are another plus. Well done, Andrew.

Dear Andrew, very well taken. What I like most is that it looks like the small traffic sign in front is responsible for all this ;-) Also only one small car in the back is visible. Great composition with all those advertising and no sky. well done !

Well I'am lovin'it too. And I tought that we had traffic problems here !
Very nice shot Andrew. The angle works well and there are so many to look at in your photo that it takes a while to see it all. I dont think that those three trees will be enough ;-)

Wow... is it possible sometimes to cross when you are walking along the street ? ;-)
Excellent ! I don't think any longer that Paris is the worst city in the world for traffic !

I like the way you've completely filled the frame with detail - it's a full-screen tapestry of chaos. Was any of the traffic actually able to move??! Interesting to note that there are hardly any people visible in the picture - kind of eerie and gives an impersonal, unemotional feel

Andrew, You have caught some of the congestion HK is so well known for. As soon as more roads are completed, they become full the next day. Good POV for this composition. I like the comment about 3 trees trying to convert the air back to purity. Good to see the excitement which this city has captured. Murray.

Fantastic urban traffic shot. Everything is double-decker - trams, buses... Frame could be a bit better but it`s really interesting picture. Best regards! Andrzej

Hi,
you have indeed managed to include almost all what illustrate Hong Kong: The typical tramways, the too many two floors buses, the bamboo scaffolding and green netting and the chaos of causeway bay. You miss only one: the red taxi !!!
I have posted another one quite like this one which I have called the urban chaos, hope you like it too!

Hello Andrew,
What a chaotic scene! I, too, am loving it. It looks like they have 7/11s in Hong Kong, too. This is a doubly excellent shot for a fan of vehicle photos like me.
Regards,
MT
