Photographer's Note
The younger girl named Hamu, another girl is her sister, but i forgot her name.
They are Tibetan and live in a military area, which is located in Qing-Tibet Road. Their father is a chef, so they can also study in the Hoping School which is set up by the army.
All the fee in the school is free, only if they can attend the class. There just 11 students in the school when i left, from 7 to 13. One teacher for all the class, including Chinese & Maths, from grade 1 to grade 3.
PS.I scaned the photo not the negative, i thinked it was been cut the boot when developing the photos. I will find out the negative and scan again. Thanks for attention.

Very nice Portrait !
I Like the expression and the Natural of the girls.
The only bad point about the composition is that you frame a little too tight. You cut in the boots. A little bit more space under feet will give more space to subjects.

J'aime l'expression ainsi que le naturel des fillettes.
Le seul reproche que j'ai à propos de cette composition est que vous aillez cadré trop serré. Vous avez coupé dans les bottes. Un peu plus d'espace sous les pied aurait mieux dégagé les sujets.

Nice shot and cute girls. I like the opposition between the fact that they're sisters but they seems different. By their attitude, their clothes, their hair, they are different. Hamu seems childish, her sister more serious, as a big sister should. Very touching.

What wonderful faces! They are absolutely fabulous! They are the perfect embodiment of the land they live in. The clothes they are wearing...the way the older girl is posing and the way the younger girl is hiding a little bit behind her sister for...comfort maybe? Just a wonderful photo...probably one of the best photos I have seen on TE, in my opinion. What a great moment in a lifetime to capture.
