It is a part of life for Chinese studens to Wear school uniform.
Every Chinese student own two or tree school uniforms.
In summer, they wear summer uniforms.
In winter, they wear winter uniforms.
I don't know when the uniform system carried out,
but I remenber clearly that I was ever punished
without wearing uniform to attend National flag rising
on monday moring at primary school.

Going to school sucks...and it sucks even more when you have to wear such ugly uniforms to boot! ;-)
Anyway, quite a nice shot you've captured. I really like the repetitive pattern of the children wearing their bright uniforms and being surrounded by the dullness of the hutongs in winter. Great shot!

This is a very nice shot, I only wish it were a little sharper, because it has interesting qualities. The contrast between their uniforms and the buildings on this street is quite something. I think the way this young girl is waving at you is adorable. I think it would have been great to have focused just on her maybe, that would have been a neat shot, too. She has a wonderful smile.
