This shot was taken in a small side-street in North Point (on the eastern side of Hong Kong Island.)
Some of the trams terminate here and use this street to turn back towards Central Hong Kong.
It is also a very busy market street, with fish and meat sellers on the right and clothes, toys, flowers, etc on the left.
The fact that they also built a hotel on the left-hand side, does not ease the congestion.
Tech: Cropped slightly, resized and sharpened.

excellent shot with this market picture. I think that there are so many things to sell in this market. The picture was taken in Hong Kong Island because Tram service runs overthere. As I come from Hong Kong, you made me miss hk more

A hectic life indeed - I like the sight of those Traims - not a sight common to me - even there was traims in Denmark until the 1970ies - thanks Andrew - for sharing.

This is great, Andrew, this is Hong Kong - cramped Hong Kong. A congestion of people, market sellers, signs, buildings, trams and scaffolding(!) - no sign of the sky. You've done a great job capturing this, especially in finding some space in front of you. I like the colors and the well controlled light. The DOF is also very adequate, mediating the feeling of everything swarming. Very well done!
