Photographer's Note
The rain stopped as we got to explore the Jokhang Temple. It is known by many names including Qoikang Monastery and Jokhang Monastery. Designed in the Tibetan Buddhist style it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Located in Barkhor Square in Lhasa, Tibet. Post note: I heard on the news last week that there was a fire at the temple and the government was not allowing much information about it be released. Hopefully it wasn't a total destruction of this historic building.
