With some people you just don't know if it's an act or not. This Tibetan cowboy caught my attention in downtown Xiahe. Lingering near the monastery's entrance, catching that late mountain sunlight.

Xiahe is famed for its Labrang Monastery, which is one of the biggest Tibetan monasteries outside the province of Tibet proper. High up on a mountain plateau in southern Gansu, it is these days becoming a regular destination for tourism.
