Photographer's Note
Lhasa can be a surprisingly tiring place. This snapshot was taken on the Barkhor circut, in a doorway right next to a Tibetan prayer flag vendor. Photo techniques wise, the picture is not perfect. But I thought it was a funny moment to demonstrate that city life anywhere can be exhausting!

Hello Sheila,
A good portrait of this lovely old woman. Well composed and cropped no doubth. But the colors seem a little faded and there is a light softness.
The tranquil atmosphere here is fantastic especially when looking at the woman's face.
Good job and thanks for sharing...
Regards
Bulent
Ps. Could you pls look at the Ws. Hope you don't mind!!

Hello Sheila,
sweet moment catched here, I like it.
I`mlooking to her bag: it seems to be hand-made. I think that Tibetian culture is well in art works. For example the religious statues that are very beautiful (I saw a golden statue of the goddess who has 1000 arms...and it was amazing to imagine that it is one of the oldest and most important statues! (I saw it on TV because there is a new opened mueseum about Tibetian Art and Culture).
Well, I must say that your culture is very interesting although it has been forbidden by China.
I hope Tibetians will soon have a better future.
Live in Peace, Sheila, and never forget where you come from :)
Ferhat
