This is VERY cool. Not just the shot, but you actually spending 6 days sneaking into Tibet. Where did you start from?
Nice cast of characters you captured here. The guy with the orange thing on his head (centre of the shot) really stands out from the crowd. A magnificent journalistic effort.
To improve: maybe a slightly larger f-stop to get everyone nice and crisp.

BEAUTIFUL! Very impressive composition with so many interestiing charaters. Every face is so expressive... when not hidden in a strange combination of scarf and hat. Very well done! BRAVO!

An interesting image with a good journalistic angle.Good composition and colours !
PS I just spent some time reading up on your trip into Tibet on your site. That's one cool Road Story for the telling, but guess it really not that cool for the taking...:)
Cheers!

Really love this photo... the colours are rich & warm which would belie the outdoor temperatures & to endure that for 6 days, I tip my hat to you... a friend did a similar trip entering into the west of Tibet, but that was years ago... wonderful shot!

Nice shot. Very personal. I especially like the fact that all of them are looking at you. Good composition and blocking for your subjects.

Great use of DOF here. You've managed to keep everyone in somewhat focus. Excellent documentary.

Six days!!! I've crossed the Kalahari Desert, in mid-summer, in the back of a truck (more than once) and thought that was a tough trip; but SIX DAYS. Ouch, that is a lot of bounces.
Nice colours and light for this group portrait, too bad the collar of the guy on the right blocks one face. A fine documentary shot and perfect for TE.

First, this is an excellent shot and a great momento of your journey. OK, the collar in the foreground does block part of the face in the back, but given the circumstances I'm surprised this is the only face that's blocked. Incredibly well captured...
BUT... a one line note?! Come on! You've given us this incredilbe cast of characters and the beginnings of an intriguing mystery, then walked away. As the battle rages in the forums over whether notes should be a requirement to post, this is a prime example of "not enough information". I see TrekEarth as a learning experience on so many levels. Your wonderful, well thought out photo with its contrasting flippant note teaches me only that you like to tease.
You have our undivided attention. Please, give us more!
