In this picture one can see the whole kit of a traditional Chinese whetter,who general rides on his bike along the block and repeats his vocal advertisement in a tone characteristic of his occupation. After finding a customer,from the bike he will remove a wooden bench,on which other equipments are set, and take to work.It's a hard work with only pittance,but without whetters many families will suffer from great inconvenience and the country will suffer from loss of a tradition.
