Was walking with friends on the Tian'AnMen Square on the new year's eve. I saw the stone lion and distant Chairman Mao's portrait and thought it could be a good shot.

Now that's an interesting way to photograph the Mao portrait... the compo and angle are superb. Yet technical quality is lacking...perhaps slightly OE at the back and too much red. A correct white balance setting/ photoshop could fix it. Next time also try a little fill-in flash to get more light on the lion...also, welcome to TrekEarth.
