Photographer's Note
I was blessed to travel up and down the Yangtze river in China twice. Each more than five days ... down and later up this three gorges wonderland. Passing this small village was like passing backward in time ... feeling partially like a Ming or Ching dynastic period scene before me. This great river hosts many wonders ... and from the bow of my boat I would sit all day, my mind filled with imaginative thoughts, for the magic of China's spirit is here.

Howdy David,
Fine idyllic view of the Yangtze River with classical boat, village and enormous cliff. Certainly a place for Pisces like me to visit and wonder.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Cheers,

Hi David,
This shot of painting effects needs to be downloaded, copy-pasted to my pen drive, then driven to the near by photostudio for a enlarged printout.
The olden effects on the woods are a treat to watch.
Great job,
~~Rajeev

Hi David,
A really beatiful place where the river is next to steep cliffs and lush green trees. That old boat is really nice and traditional wooden buildings look good too.

halo david,
This photo evokes my memories from Yangtzee Cruise. Marvelous view of the nice houses ion the banks. Was it on a small boat? it is such a low POV. Was it made before filling the Three gorges Dam? Wonderful view.
Warm regrads

Hi DRT
this is a place i have never been, but from looking at your scene here it makes me want to visit for sure.
i like that you left out the sky, just focusing our attention on the architecture, the river, the boat and the mountains...very sweet shot indeed.
I also enjoyed reading your note, well done
cheers

Hi David,
This is such a beautiful place that in spite of the bad weather and scarse light in the shaded areas it still lokks very picturesque. Very well spotted here with the rocks above the houses climbing up and appearing as if they were indefinitely high. Interesting color of the water as well. It looks very exotic alltogether. Very encouraging to visit.
