The four relatively small brick temples at Lolei were built as Hindu temples in the 9th century. In this photo you can see only 3 of them as the 4th one (also large) is behind the large one in this photo. The 2 temples at the front were for men whilst the 2 at the rear were for women.
The temples were dedicated to the king's ancestors - the 2 large ones on the right being for his grandparents and the 2 on the left being for his parents.
By the way - nothing about the temples was quite straight.

Colors of the monument and the distinct contrast to the surrounding were first to notice when saw this picture, Ian.
Good choice to add the big tree on left.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hi Ian, Lots of good detail visible in the large image, great sharpness and I too like the inclusion of the tree. Only quibble I have is with the slight lean to the right - or perhaps the temple is crooked? Cheers, Steve

Hi Ian,
The rust red brick façades of the ruins contrast well with the blue parts of the cloudy sky to give a good warm cold colour contrast. Excellent sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Hello Ian,
Good composition and very beautiful with the red colour of the stone in contrast with the greenery around and also with the smaller plants growing on the structures.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ian,
The temple to the right, which we see most clearly, is quite pretty but looks vulnerable. So many bricks have fallen and more may follow, and the grass growing all over looks like it could do further damage. But it's a beautiful photo with fine light and nice contrasts of red/orange and green.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Ian,
The trees are framing well the temple. The point of view is showing the details of the temples. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,
A beautiful shot of these temples, the many details look beautiful in this gentle sunlight. The warm tones are great too and go well together with the green surroundings.

Hello Ian, the buildings are looking quite vulnerable with obvious supports to help them from falling down.
Some of the carvings are still intact though.
Excellent sharp picture.
The colours are very attractive.
Kind regards, Jean.
