Photographer's Note

Tonle Bati is a small lake about 30 km south of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. It is a popular weekend destination for the local people and also a fishing spot.

Here you can see a man fishing among the invasive water hyacinths...
The locals weave them into hammocks, baskets, storage boxes etc...and also cook the flower in soups.
