Photographer's Note
this is a quite particular title...but it has a reason.
When he discovered I was heading for Cambodia and Viet Nam My friend Way Lim wished me a pleasant trip and said, it was curious to see my POV on these 2 countries, Cambodia in particular.
Well, I was looking for some images around Angkor Wat (you know...I am a nikon sniper as for my theme one shot - one I got!) when I saw this baby....and reminded me of Waylim's picture the children from Angkor Wat
well my friend....subjects are very similar...location is the same. I hope you will enhjoy my POV!

Hi Silvio!

Hi Silvio
A nice combination of portrait, daily life scene, & landscape, with the magnificent Khmer ruins of Angkor Wat making a good backdrop. Superb reflections & colour. Tfs!

Bentornato!
Foto ben composta e suggestiva.

Hi Silvio,
Welcome back, so soon, I bet you had a wonderful time and some very memorable moment and interesting story and photos to share. I'm very excited as if I have just returned from there myself, even though it was 2 year ago. Thanks so much for this dedication and it takes back there instantly. I was here before sunrise for some photos and I sat at the exact location where you took this shot because there are less people at this location, to enjoy the sunrise, and watch the people, and occasionally some children will come by out of curiosity. I love this POV, and the warm afternoon light that illuminated the area with golden tone. I like how you managed to get the shot without the tourists in it and off course this little child make all the difference, it make it original and give the essence of the place showing this local child playing near this beautiful water lily pond, or perhaps she is one of the child trying to sell postcards, because her parents make her do it, after school I hope. I like the placement of the child a little bit off center for a wonderful composition. Pity the there is always construction around the monuments everywhere we go. Regardless, this is a wonderful shot with excellent quality. I love it, looking foward to many more shot like this. Thanks so much
Way

Ben tornato e ritrovato amico!

Buona giornata e a risentirci. Saluti carissimi,
Fulvio.

Ciao Silvio
So you went to Cambodia! Very nice view of the amazing Angkor in nice pastel hues of the late sunlight. The place looks quite empty surprisingly…may be it was not! Inclusion of the girl was a great idea, which gives this shot originality. Pity about the construction work on the Meru, but you could not have done anything about it. Good work!

Angshu

Ciao Silvio,
Yves.
