Photographer's Note

The Cambodian children may have forgotten with the civil war ended for a while now.

But the effect because of that war still haunted many people who's lucky enough to go to the country. I was there in 2006 and was overwhelmed to see the amount of children begging, selling or pretty much doing other things but reading or writing at school.

These two adorable kids may look so innocent playing with each other ( I thought it was such a great scene ) inside the Angkor Wat. But that's how they attract their potential buyer of their postcards after we came out from the Angkor Wat.

On every stop at many temples in Angkor Wat, you'll greeted by many children offering "One Dollar.. One Dollar" drinks or souvenir.

I wish a strength for the country to get over the haunted past and hope to see many more bright children with much better fortune.

This photo taken before my SLR time, taken with my favourite compact SONY Cybershot DSC N1 ever, before it went missing from my bag, one day at work :-P. Changed the color to sephia on my iPhoto.
