A young monk poses for tourists at Angkor Wat which was constructed between 1120- 1150 under the ruler Suryavarman II. It served as the capital of the Khmer empire and was the state temple. It is considered the largest religious monument in the world and it is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.
