Photographer's Note
Ariel photos taken at a distance normally suffers from a colour-dead haze effect due to a combination of atmospheric particles, moisture, and less-than-clear aircraft windows. I've discovered that a drastic increase in contrast by photo-adjusting software with some increase in brightness helps to bring back the original colours with minimal distortions. Forrest foliage returns to its dark greens, dirt roads to its dry orange, and the moat around Angkor Wat reflecting the cloud-spotted clear blue sky. No actual colour tampering is needed.
