This is not the first picture of skulls from the killing fields of Choeung Ek. And for sure it's not going to be the last one. But I think people must be reminded once in a while about dark sides of human nature.

This is a good shot Anna. I am surprised it has gone unnoticed so far. I agree that this is not the first such photo posted, but I do like your lower than usual perspective and your b&w work is really nice. Good shot.

youre right about the dark sides of the human nature.and i also agree with darren. it's surprising that nobody else has anything to say about this photograph.i'm also new to this site so i should be excused for having missed this brilliant shot earlier. saw your work on india as well. nice work . wish i could give you even a bigger smiley for this pic.
you should goto www.magnumphotos.com ,under "photographers" look at "raghu rai" see his work "corporate crime" there is a photograph of bags full of skulls of the victims of the bhopal gas tragedy. his work on the bhopal gas tragedy(corporate crime) and on "mother teresa" is out of the world. you'll like it

Choice of b&w is very effective here. There was a recent colour photo with yellowed skulls that looked macabre.
This story needs to be reiterated periodically, so that people never forget the madness of the Pol Pot years.

what a scary picture, you present it as it should be. So we will never foget what was happen and use it as a lesson for our future.
