Photographer's Note
Ura lhakang, the local temple at the center of the village of the same name. Located in the Ura valley just east of the Bumthang valley, it is a popular place to visit, credited with being part of the cultural heartland of Bhutan.
Most farmers grow potatoes but the crop is constantly being marauded by deer, and as a consequence it is not unlikely that they will switch to other crops.
Faithful revelers can be seen in the photo, tirelessly making their rounds (always clockwise) around the temple, chanting their mantras and spinning the many prayer wheels lining the facade. Old people come her daily, steadily working on improving their karmas and gaining more merit with the gods.

Hej Johan,
Snygg bild från Ura. Jag var där för några år sedan, men fick inga särskilt bra bilder just därifrån. Den känns en liten aning överexponerad, men ljuset var ju besvärligt.
Hälsningar,
Gert

Great photo here Johan. I really like your POV and the composition is good. The temple is spectacular and the addition of the people adds an element of "human interest" and a good sense of scale. Good color also, the sky looks great and the greens are very vibrant.
Great work.
John
PS - good intro note also. It's always good to see someone who is interested in photography and not post processing. I think the whole thing with digital is just that it is so easy, although not always better than film.
