Photographer's Note
This little girl could not make up her mind whether she wanted to be photographed or not so we played hide-and-seek for a while until her mother pushed her out with an apologetic smile. But I prefer this photo in which the girl is hiding behind the door.
In the east of Bhutan you will see many less kids wearing traditional outfits than in the west of the country. For comparison I include a WS with a photo of a group of children wearing kira (long skirts) and gho (traditional male outfits) taken in Trongsa in Central Bhutan.

Witaj Kasiu
Zdecydowanie zdjecia z zaskoczenia, bez pozowania sa ciekawsze nawet jesli niedoskonałe technicznie , poruszone czy z innymi usterkami. Oczywiscie nie dotyczy to tej fotografii bo tu widac wlasnie wahanie wyjsc-nie wyjsc, pokazac sie czy schowac do matki ;)
Na WS dzieciaki chyba bardzo odswietnie ubrane - moze jakas uroczystosc w szkole byla ;)

Hello Kasia,
This is a delightful photo, showing the girl's shyness very well. I am sure this is much better and more charming than a regular portrait as it captures her spontaneous behaviour and leaves something to the viewer's imagination.

Hello Kasia,
a lovely scene, a fine capture in which we can see little but learn quite a few things about the cute little girl and her house. She's very sweet and has a keen eye on the world judging her attitude towards it. I love the textures and the way the yellow colour stands out empowering the little girl's presence. Nice portrait! Ya she must be shy, we can have same experiences very frequentlyin the developing countries. Half but I think this is enough, otherwise half face is sometimes more attractive. You did get perefct moment in so good sitiuation.

here is the half portrait of this shy and cute girl and in my view, it is great. Good use of DOF. Nice colours. The printed part in background is a bit distracting but I can feel the situation, you have no choice except it. Though overall the result is very much acceptable and I enjoyed it a lot. Tfs.

A charming picture of this little girl, her shyness comes nicely across. You are probably right that this works better than a full scale portrait.
Interesting detail about the differences in wearing traditional clothes in eastern and western Bhutan.

piekny,majacy swoj niepowtarzalny urok i klimat portret!
A dziewczynka,mimo iz widzimy ja tylko czesciowo znakomicie oddaje dziecieca ciekawosc oraz...niesmialosc.
Znakomicie uchwycona i skadrowana scena!
PS.rowniez drugie zdjecie jest bardzo ciekawe.Podobaja mi sie te ich tradycyjne stroje.
A ja odliczam juz powoli dni do mojego urlopu:)
