Hello Dale - Lovely Skye, this looks like the Kilt Rock area to me. You have captured the folded cliff face nicely and all looks calm and idyllic although I believe the coastline may look quite wild and treacherous when the gales are blowing! Warm regards Rosemary

love the mixture of light and colour in this beautifully textured composition. It is a dramatic view and perfectly executed with a great placement of shadow that gives wonderful depth, accentuating the height and majesty of the cliffs. Glorious!

Hi Dale,

You're capturing well this landscape by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see steep clif and blue sea. And, white surfs which roll in to a cliff draws out a good atmosphere as well as the shadow projected to the cliff, too.

Simple but quite impressive shot not lack of interesting elements with great details, texture and shades. Love the turquoise water as it contrasts so superbly against the scene. A nice composition and excellent perspective and huge depth with some nice foreground detail. A fine shot considering the time of the day, Congrats

Hi Dale,

The cliff here is so sharp and high. Dangerous place. Wonderful colours of the rocks and sea. I was also in Portree but it rained so I didn't see much of the beauty of Skye.

Hi Dale,
wonderful place. Of course it reminds me a lot Ireland but nevertheless I hope to visit it some time in the future. Great POV slightly below the upper level of cliffs makes a feeling of being in the middle of the height. Very pleasant natural colors,
